What activities you can do while volunteering at the Dharamkot Centre and at the Himalaya Shanti Ashram?
At the Dharamkot Centre – digital work is required whereas at the Ashram mainly farming (in Permaculture way). We require our volunteers to keep an open mind to the situation of the Yoga Centre and/or the Ashram and be ready to do whatever is urgent or needed – even if it goes out of the normal duties of a volunteer. The volunteer should be ready to help, treat the Yoga Centre and the Ashram like his/her own home and be tuned in to recognise if something needs attention, immediate action. We are all a Family; a community and we take care of our House together.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are volunteering in exchange of our Yoga Courses, you need to read and comply with the Requirements for Participation as well as Code of Conduct. Each Yoga Course has a specific terms and conditions.
